If your going out tonite have fun and be safe. Happy New Year!

Get out of the way

Although I can't say that I'm surprised, but it's amazing the things that come against you when you set out to do things in your life that you've never done before. And it's not always necessarily snares from the enemy that come against you, because the Lord has already put them on notice that your his child and the best thing for them to do is leave you alone. So now, the only thing left to do is get out of your own way. Let go of the self doubt, past hurts, fear of the unknown, procrastination, and anything else that your holding on to that's holding you back. Move self! Get out the way!

Don't do it

Don't ever, never ever, ever, give up.
If the good Lord gave it to you it's yours, so don't you ever give up.

"For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus," philippians 1:6

Sunday evening throwback

This song came to mind today.

Please forgive me

"Obey God, and leave the consequences to him." - Dr. Charles Stanley

This would have been my Sunday post, if I had posted. This week has been work, work, work, but in my industry ,tis' the season, so I'm not complaining. But this quote has been with me all week, and decided to go ahead and post it anyway. My apologies for the lateness of this post and the lack there of for this week.

If your not familiar with Dr. Stanley, he is founder of Intouch Ministries and pastor of First Baptist Church of Atlanta. In of course Atlanta, GA. He breaks the word down and does more than just pick a verse out of the Bible and preach around it. He really teaches the word of God and how to apply it to your everyday life. Yep, he's fabulous!

A need and a want....

I need a couple of pairs of skinny jeans, because I'm finding that my boot cut jeans don't look to good when I want to where my jeans tucked into my boots.

Time for a new look

I've made up my mind, I'm so going curly.

On my next day off I think I'll stay home and try a twist out. And next time I make a trip to the salon do a roller set instead of my usual flat iron.

Some things you just have no control

People, Places and Things.....

Just a few things that inspired me and/or caught my fancy this weekend.

I haven't been to wal-mart in ages, but found myself there this weekend. A couple of her pieces caught my fancy so I looked further and found her site. I think I likey her style.

Black, the color peach, pearls, & lace. I seen this color combo and was inspired to try it oneday with something lacey along with some pearls. I think lace and pearls togather give such a romantic and timeless vibe.
The words Faith, Hope, and Love, these three words inspired me to take a few baby steps toward a creative project. Stay tuned...

If you don't know, now you know

Happy Sunday, yall! God Bless!

Man you got style!

I so admire the style of Usher. Not alot of men on the scene currently that really care, in my opinion. He can be dressed up or dress down. Whenever I see him, I can't help but take notice.

A love like this

I would so like to know what Mr. President is whispering in Mrs. Obama's ear.

A survival kit

A penny: So you will never be broke!
A candle: To help light your path. A rubberband: For flexibility! Things may not always go the way you want.
A paperclip: To keep everything together.
Lifesavers: Sometimes we all need a little help.

Band-aid: To heal heart feelings
A hug & kiss: We all need hugs & kisses.
String: To remind us that God has everything under control.
